Opening Port 7779

If you are having trouble accessing the C9 Portal, you may need to open port 7779 on your local computer. You will only need to do this once.

  1. Open the Control Panel on your local computer.
  2. Select Windows Firewall.

  3. Click Advanced Settings.

  4. Click Inbound Rules.

  5. Right-click Inbound Rules and select New Rule.

  6. Select the Port radio button and click Next.

  7. Enter "7779" in the Specified Local Ports field and click Next.

  8. Click Next to skip through the Action and Profile screens.
  9. Enter "Cloudnine" as the name.
  10. Click Finish.

Try accessing the C9 Portal again to see if this worked. If you are still having problems, please contact Technical Support.
